Born in 2012 from an original idea by CRIOBE researchers, Fare Natura has the aim of popularizing and transferring knowledge to the general public scientific and cultural on the Polynesian natural environment. Located at the entrance to the bay of 'Opunohu, Fare Natura is positioned as the showcase of the richness of Polynesian culture and biodiversity, based on relevant scientific work in biology, geology,anthropology and ecology.

Né en 2012 d'une idée originelle des chercheurs du CRIOBE, le Fare Natura a pour objectif de vulgariser et transférer au grand public des connaissances scientifiques et culturelles sur le milieu naturel Polynésien.
Situé à l'entrée de la baie de 'Opunohu, le Fare Natura se positionne comme la vitrine de la richesse de la culture et de la biodiversité Polynésienne, en se basant sur des travaux scientifiques relevant de la biologie, la géologie,
l'anthropologie et l'écologie.
